This license is required when an agent is operating as a business and not solely as an individual. Most states require an agency license in addition to an individual producer license to conduct business in that state. This License is also known as a Business Entity Producer License.
The application and renewal process differs according to whether the producer is within NY State or outside NY State.
Note: Because DenTen already has an agency license within NY State, we will only need to renew NY State license in the future.
